In 1982, as a single guy, I decided to build my first home. Being into scouting, camping and my love for the outdoors- I fell in love with the look of the log home. I looked at several log home packages, but my love of that rustic look made me settle on a Real Log Home. I am so happy that I did and have loved every minute in my Real Log Home. I especially enjoy my home when I’m alone and shut off all the lights, except for one, and just sit there as the single light reflects off the walls, glistening, as I’m deep in thought! I find it very relaxing and inspiring.
I have called Ed Schoen several times through these past 38 years for advice on everything from treatments to minor repairs and have always been treated as a friend rather than a customer. He has always been concerned about my issues and directed me to the best possible solution to resolve the issue.
Fast forward 38 years, I have recently had some issues with a few logs and Ed Schoen was there to advise and help in whatever way he could to help.
